PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT

During my senior year at Columbia College Chicago, I took on the role of producer for our capstone short film, "Cupid in Training". In this role, I took on multiple responsibilities including: overseeing production by using maintaining a detailed production schedule, wrangling and organizing a large library of assets, assigning tasks to a team of 23 individuals, and organizing bi-weekly progress meetings.

With a team of 23 members and an over nine-minute run time, we needed a one-stop-shop where vital shot information and deadlines could be accessed by all crew members. Utilizing Microsoft Excel, I created a comprehensive production schedule to track progress and ensure deadlines were being met.

Prior to each class meeting, I was responsible for arranging bi-weekly production evaluations designed to be showcased to our faculty supervisor and crew. These meetings covered an array of production information including finalized art assets, target deadlines, and animation critiques. These meetings provided the crew full transparency about the project's progress and helped to hold everyone accountable.

To build these presentations, I utilized Microsoft PowerPoint to create clean concise slides that could be readily modified to display the latest developments prior to class meetings.

All animation critiques were organized by myself and our director and were hosted live during bi-weekly meetings. Communication outside the classroom took place over Discord and so that there was always an open line of communication between crew members. All files were accessable remotely via Microsoft OneDrive.
